What is the idea behind InOneWord.com?

Many times we know what we want, but having troubles finding it on the internet. As humans, we can often summarize what we want in one word - for example "perfume", "film", "flowers". Search engines cannot help us if we don't provide them with some elaborated queries, but not many have the time and patient for that. Why isn't there a single place that answers these basic needs, so simple that they can be expressed in one word?

We thought so too, and made InOneWord.com just for this purpose. We associate you with a single word, and point to you everyone who had this word in mind. Whether you are a seller, a service provider or just want to promote your personal homepage - you can benefit from our service.

How much does a word cost?

A word costs $100 and is associated with you for as long as the site operates. When you buy a word we link it to you both by a visual representation on our site, and via http redirection. For instance, if you buy the word "Books" it will appear as a clickable graphics, and http://inoneword.com/books will point to your site.

Are there any renewal fees?

Absolutely not. It is a one time payment, and that is another reason to secure your word now - you have a permanent link to your site with no recurring expenses. For more information and complete terms and conditions, please visit our Buy a Word section.

How are words ordered on display?

In order to facilitate finding your word, words with the same first letter are ordered lexicographically. The "Mix" tab, which is the opening page of our site, shows all words in random order. Each word gets a fair share of being displayed on top of this screen.
